Arrived safely ...

Left Portland at 6am and arrived in Newark, NJ for a quick snack.
Early morning sunrise on our way to Newark, NJ

Sights of New York, including the Hudson Bay, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty etc...

Flight to Belize City was smooth and uneventful.
The weather was noticeably warmer than Fredericton.
Greeted by our fellow missioner, Stanley Isherwood. Wonderful to finally connect with him.

Michelle from the Anglican diocese was also at the airport to meet us. Our driver Andrew, was fantastic. He gave us a tour of the area and offered us a lot of useful information. He will be coming back to get us next Friday. Mrs. Bennett, principal at St. Hilda's school, greeted us upon arrival in San Ignacio.

Nice accomodations and very hospitable manager, Miss Betty, is taking good care of us.

Our hotel, the Casa Blanca, is in the heart of the town.

We've just enjoyed a lovely meal directly across the street from our hotel.

Early night tonight after a long, yet successful, day of travel.

Tomorrow we'll be heading to service at St. Andrews church in San Ignacio. We're all looking forward to meeting Ashley Jones, our sponsored student. Afterwards ... only God knows.
